Curbside Check-in

Curbside Check-in allows patients to practice safe social distancing during the check-in process, and many patients simply prefer the comfort and convenience of staying in their car. Initially developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, curbside check-in has remained an active feature as many practices have found that it provides an elevated and more efficient patient experience. 

How does it work? Before the appointment, a text message is sent to the patient, letting them know they can check in with their phones directly from the parking lot. When the patient arrives, they respond to the text, and the appointment status is updated in your Scheduler. The patient receives an automatic response, and then they can wait comfortably in the car until you notify them that it is time for their appointment.

Additionally, Curbside Check-in is a convenient way to help manage your schedule. Stay on top of patient arrivals while you complete your morning huddles, while team members are returning from lunch breaks, and when “early bird” patients arrive well in advance of their scheduled time.
